Katlynn began practicing Pilates in 2010, she instantly fell in love with its ability to center the mind, increase mobility and range of motion while simultaneously strengthening, achieving an efficient full body workout.
When she’s not in the studio, you will find her hiking, mountain biking or paddle boarding down the Roaring Fork in Summer, snowboarding and skinning to earn fresh turns in the Winter, daily walking her pup, Harlee Ray, official mascot of Spring Pilates, around the block. Whatever it is she loves being outdoors, enjoying Carbondale’s sunshine.

Since Katlynn’s first job at her local recreation center, she has had an insatiable passion for movement and fitness. She continued to work in fitness throughout college at Colorado State University while pursuing her business degree. After graduation she utilized her Business degree, creating a successful 14 year career in Real Estate. The desire to continue to learn and grow in the fitness realm never waned. Craving to know more about anatomy and physiology, she studied and obtained her ACE personal trainer in 2012.
She went on to complete her 500+ hour BASI comprehensive Pilates instructor training and was fully certified in 2013.
She also earned her National Pilates Instructor certification. Continuously teaching Pilates and fitness classes whenever she could, finally, after years of saving she is able to follow her passion for Pilates and open an accessible, community reformer studio.
